Student opportunities and activities

Students at our school can participate in a variety of learning opportunities and activities. Whether it’s sport, creative arts, leadership programs, or academic extension, there is something for every student to enjoy and explore.

Bell times

At Edgeworth Heights Public School, our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Learn more about our bell times.

Canteen

Our canteen operates on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is always looking for volunteers to help. Please contact the school if you are interested.

Parent portal

Our school uses School Bytes as our method for permission and payments for school activities. Communication is sent to families through email, so it’s important that your email details are always up to date. When an activity occurs, families will receive an email that provides information about the activity, parents permission is signed digitally and payment can be made directly through the link on the email. Paper copies can be provided upon request.

Travel to school

Getting to our school is simple with various safe transport options, check our location map and public transport details.

Kiss & Ride:

Cars 1 & 2 load or unload students only.

Cars 3 - 6 wait to drive into position 1 or 2.

Morning Drop Off Procedure:

Parent/carer drives into Kiss and Ride Zone and moves to the most forward two positions.

Student takes off seatbelt and exits the car using the door closest to the curb.

Student walks to the school gate independently.

Parent drives away from Kiss and Ride Zone safely.

Afternoon Pick Up Procedure:

Staff member to walk students to Kiss and Ride Zone.

Family Kiss and Ride name card clearly displayed on windscreen or visor.

Parent drives to the most forward two positions. Parent to stay in car. Child MUST enter from the door closest to the curb.

Cars exit Kiss and Ride in the order of arrival. i.e., No car leaves before the car in the first two positions exits the Kiss and Ride area.

Bus Zone:

The bus zone is strictly No Parking. Please keep this area clear so that staff members can ensure all students are moved safely to their designated buses.
