What does the P&C do?

  • operates the canteen

  • actively fundraises to support the school with resources, equipment and infrastructure not provided by the Department of Education

  • contributes to the determination of broad school policy

  • encourages participation in school activities

  • promotes communication within the school community

  • each year the P&C contributes financially to the school.  None of this is possible without our amazing volunteers and the support of the whole school community.

Membership of the Edgeworth Heights P&C Association is open to all parents and guardians of pupils attending the school and to all citizens within the school community. The P&C is always keen to welcome new members and particularly members who access or have an interest in the services provided by the P&C such as our canteen and fundraising activities.

Annual membership is $1.00 (one dollar) and entitles you to be involved in the decision making of the P&C Association.  You are still welcome to attend meetings without becoming a member and membership is not required for you to volunteer in the canteen or at fundraising events.  If you would like to become a member please fill in the membership form and bring it to the next meeting or return it to the school office for the P&C Treasurer.

P&C Membership Form

The P&C meets on the second Tuesday of every month, excluding school holidays, at 6.00pm in the school library.  Anyone is welcome to attend including children.

The P&C Association is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out with our canteen and fundraising events.  You don't need to be a member of the Association to volunteer, but you do need to be related to a child attending the school.

If you would like to become involved and help out, please see the office to collect a Declaration for child-related workers form. Volunteers will need to provide one form of photo ID with the completed form and return it to the school office prior to commencing.
